“Learn PinYin in 30 Minutes” was written by an Australian born Chinese young man whose mother tongue is English. The author reviewed his learning experiences and wishes to help other HanYu beginners. He used the popular animation approach which is welcomed by all youth with a simple input method as a short-cut to master PinYin system. This book provides an interesting and effective DIY way in PinYin learning for all English speakers. A reference CD is available as a gift.

Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition was the first project jointly presented by CIHK, Culture Promotion Committee of PolyU and China Report. It displayed the works of calligrapher Mr. HAN Shi, as well as several works of modern celebrities. There are also some outstanding overseas Chinese calligraphy works on display. “Calligraphic Works by Modern Celebrities” is the first publication based on the Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition, it aims to introduce overseas readers about the art of Chinese calligraphy and to develop their interest and appreciative ability in Chinese culture.
